We might get hung up on the numbers when it comes to measuring our internet connections. Ping times, download speeds, upload speeds, data allowances, subscription costs but when it comes down to the end of the day, we all measure by the same yardstick.

How well does it work with Netflix?

This is where some of the black magic happens behind the scenes as Aussie telcos work with the streaming giant to make sure that their subscribers get the best video experience possible.

Netflix releases a regular report card on how the industry went and they don’t play favorites. It is about getting the video to the subscriber and the January 2019 results are in.

At the top of the rankings was Telstra NBN followed by Optus, Exetel, Telstra non-NBN, TPG, iiNet and Dodo/iPrimus rounding out the table.
